ALBA. The Dawn. OLIVARI

A new addition to OLIVARI range of handles: the clean and minimalistic door handle Alba - the Dawn.

This model was created by Frankfurt-based designer Kai Linke specifically for the Italian brand Olivari.
The designer shares his story on the making of the handle and the ideas behind it:

“I intended to create a continuity in shape while using two materials – metal and porcelain, and the round profile of the handle became the unifying motif. On top of that, I wished to enlarge the porcelain grip a little – as an aesthetic sign that stresses its ergonomic properties. I am certain that the modern recreation of the archetype with its wide range of finishes will make it a fitting element in many modern and luxurious spaces.”

A new dawn for porcelain as a historic material reimagined. A modern interpretation manifesting radical simplicity. Two materials merge into inseparable interplay as if made from the same template. Minimalistic aesthetics coupled with the highest quality.
