The narrowest solution within Athmer door seal range

Double sealing is often used in acoustic doors requiring a high degree of sound insulation. The same goes for automatic drop seals that insulate the bottom of the door. The second rebate tends to be very thin and thus requires as narrow an automatic drop seal as possible. This is especially pertinent with doors of reduced thickness.

To offer a solution for such cases, Athmer has developed the narrowest automatic door seal profile the market has yet seen. The new seal Schall-Ex® L-8/30 WS with a milling size of 8 x 30 mm is ideal to use as a second sealing.

Similar to its predecessor Schall-Ex® L-15/30 WS, the main features of the new drop seal Schall-Ex L-8/30 WS are parallel actuation with no offset of the inner profile, guaranteeing secure sealing in corners, and level compensation for uneven floors.

The interior seal profile and the silicone rubber are removable to ensure the cut is exact and the seal leaves no gaps at all. Should you need to change the rubber, this can be done even when the seal is installed.

In double doors you no longer need to install the passive leaf holder through the drop seal: the small milling size for the Schall-Ex® L-15/30 WS makes it possible to install the drop seal next to the passive leaf holder instead.

Schall-Ex® L-15/30 WS is suitable for use in wooden hinged interior and exterior doors. The material is highly anti-corrosive, and the seal ensures a high degree of sound insulation, thermal insulation, and protection against fire, smoke, humidity, dust and smells.
