The handle on a door needs to be simple and elementary, easy to use and immediately comprehensible. With these principles in mind, the French architect Dominique Perrault created the handle LIVING with lines that are reduced to a minimum: a straight horizontal grip as a line drawn in space and a matching link to the door leaf. "Linear shapes illustrate the continuity of modern architecture, and this is reflected also in household items. There is no place for anything excessive or useless in a project with a clear concept." /Dominique Perrault/
